anointing candles: when anointing candles with ritual oil,
remember to go clockwise for "bringing in" energies, and
counter-clockwise for "releasing" energies. When using
tapers or elongated candles, anoint from top to bottom for
invoking, and from bottom to top for releasing energies.
You can also anoint a candle beginning in the middle and
going up [to release] and then from the middle down [to
bring in] - that way you can release all blocks as well as
invoke the positive energies at the same time.
